The noise carried straight through the walls, and the bed and bathroom were both uncomfortable to deal with. Wi-Fi was unreliable, and breakfast was cold, bland, and clearly not fresh. The room itself was dirty, smelled awful, and looked nothing like the online photos. Staff were rude and seemed indifferent. The place felt neglected and cheap from beginning to end, and it ruined my time in Porto. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I travel for work often, and I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a hotel. I had to take an urgent client call, so I went to a quiet corner of the breakfast area at night rather than taking time to get back to my room. Tomás came over and aggressively told me, “get out or else i'll do something about it,” then loudly pressured me to end the call. A guest doing legitimate work shouldn’t be intimidated like that. It left me with a terrible impression of Hotel Star Inn Porto, and I can’t recommend it to anyone seeking a professional, welcoming stay. I asked for a formal complaint form and filled it in without help. I got it wrong, which is fine, but I’ll submit another one with all the details. This treatment was disrespectful and a disgrace to hospitality. Stay away from Hotel Starr Inn Porto.

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so helpful, even with the unexpected things I asked for. The room was comfortable and practical too. I came away pleasantly surprised. Thank you.

Breakfast was packed and there was hardly any choice. When I asked for ice, a staff member just laughed in my face and shook his head. Worst breakfast experience I’ve had.
