The staff made our stay memorable. When I asked what we should visit, one team member marked suggestions on a map, and they noticed my wife’s birthday and left us a sweet personalized printed note. We were there for her birthday trip and found the hotel genuinely comfortable. It’s right across from the Porto stadium and a large shopping mall, and about 5 km from the city center. I’d rented a car and drove around Porto, but the public transport and taxis were easy to use whenever we didn’t want to drive. For a trip by car, I think this is a fantastic option: driving and parking were stress free, with easy access to the city.

We could walk to downtown, and the area felt safe. The location is great, the place was very clean, and reception is open 24 hours. We were leaving at 4 a.m., and reception gave us water, coffee, and pastries for the early start. Highly recommend!

The rooms were clean and quiet, and we had an awesome stay. There’s a soccer stadium and mall right next door, with room to walk around and explore, and the train station is nearby too. Just be aware the walk up to the hotel has a gruelling slope, so it’s not recommended with heavy luggage.

I stay at Marriott properties almost all the time, so I know what to expect from their different brands. This AC stood out for me. The service was attentive and the place felt professionally run, which matters a lot to me.

The highway right beside it makes this a poor spot for a holiday. I booked anyway because the website said the room had a kitchenette, but the hotel doesn't have any rooms with one. The sink is so badly designed that the water comes out just an inch above the drain. There's no space to rinse a toothbrush, let alone wash your hands or face, so I had to use the bathtub.
