There are restaurants, bars, and even markets all around, and the residence is in a great spot for seeing Porto. If you’re arriving by car, there’s underground parking just across the street, no more than 20mt away. The room matched the photos, and was spacious and clean. Mine had a little refrigerator, and another room has a kitchen if you’d rather cook. Even with bars and restaurants with open tables right in front, my room was completely quiet. I’ve never had a mattress this good at any other residence. I wish I had one at home. I slept incredibly well, and the staff service was top notch.

The hostess was friendly and kept in touch by text before my stay. She even offered to look after some of my belongings for 1,5 week before I came back to Porto. Turra Residence is a lovely apartment that I’d happily recommend. It’s well kept and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the location gives you easy access to restaurants and bars while staying fairly quiet, with little street noise. It’s a pleasant and affordable place to stay, whether you’re exploring the city or starting the Caminho.

The room was spacious and the location was convenient, but the floor was sticky, so I can’t really recommend it. The host wasn’t friendly either. When we picked up the keys at the restaurant downstairs, all we heard was, “1st floor, city side”. There was also a lot of noise from the underground parking entrance on the square.

A small kitchen was the one thing I found myself needing. Otherwise, this was a beautiful, super clean apartment in a very good location, close to everything, including the bridge, restaurants, and markets. I recommend it.

The room was really clean and in a great spot, with a supermarket, bakery, and good restaurant right next door. The sisters who looked after us were very nice.
