Be aware that Porto is very hilly, even more than Lisbon, which we already thought was hilly. The location is wonderfully convenient for exploring the heart of Porto and its main attractions. José and Cristina were great hosts from the moment we arrived until we left. José was especially helpful, sharing useful information and even helping us all the way up the hills to our Uber when we departed. The room is spacious, more like a nice medium-sized studio, and we slept very comfortably. The shower is quite small but works very well. I wouldn’t say this place is for super light sleepers. My wife and I were fine, though I overheard one guest complaining they could hear everything outside. I think that was an exaggeration, but you might hear the outside world.

José was a wonderful host and guide. He sent all the information we needed, helped us find parking before we arrived, and made sure we were well taken care of during the stay. The walking tours he suggested were a great way to see the city. The studio was spacious, modern, and clean, with a handy kitchenette and enough room to sit and enjoy the coffee and tea provided. The location was perfect, close to the river and all the restaurants and bars. This was easily our favorite hotel of the trip around Portugal.

José really made the stay. He’s friendly, knows the city well, responds quickly to WhatsApp questions, and is very accommodating with recommendations. The hotel doesn’t have parking onsite, so we used a nearby lot for about 15 hours, which cost roughly €50. I’d suggest researching parking in Porto before you arrive, or maybe asking José. The location is great for tourist spots and an easy walk from lots of restaurants, though it can get noisy. The rooms are modern and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the sheets were a bit noisy. Coffee and tea are free. I’d recommend the hotel, and José is truly a great person.

José Fernando was a lovely host, and his walking route tips and friendly help made a difference. The room was clean, had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. It’s also in a fantastic spot, close to Ribeira and other sights. Nothing to complain about, I’d happily recommend staying here in Porto 😍
