It's a basic room in a good location, with lots of places to eat nearby. There isn't a lift. The bathroom gets very wet because water splashes out of the shower area. There's no air-conditioning heater, so you have to ask for a portable one to be brought to the room.

Restaurants behind the building were still noisy around 4:00 a.m. That didn't bother me much, but light sleepers might struggle. The location is excellent, with plenty of shops and restaurants close by, and I'd stay again for that reason. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was large, and it was comfortable overall. There were three of us, and we appreciated having a pullout couch. The room had AC. Just so you know, there's no safe.

The staff were quiet but helpful, and breakfast was okay. It's very convenient for getting to most tourist spots.

The shutters made the room pitch black, which was ideal for me as a light sleeper. I had no trouble sleeping with the windows closed and the AC on. I imagine street noise could come through with the windows open. The area does have nightlife, which I liked. The location is honestly perfect if you're planning to get around on foot. My room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked really well, and the shower had great pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they let me check in an hour early after my travels. Breakfast was good and standard, with juice, coffee, bread, meat, cheese, and yogurt. It kept me full for hours. Couldn't have asked for a better place for my first night in Porto.
