We got a very decent price for March. The room felt modern and had enough space for two, and the staff were welcoming, professional, and helpful. It’s a great base for a city break, close to bus and metro stops.

The hotel is easy to spot when you’re wandering back after a few too many glasses of Port, since it’s well lit at night. The rooms are modern and nice, and they provide shower gel and shampoo, handy if you’re travelling light. Breakfast was available on request and looked nice, though we ate out. Lovely hotel.

The bed was awful, the room lights were uncomfortable, and the motion sensor system kept cutting the electricity and AC even when someone was still inside. It made the stay frustrating. There were no slippers or toiletries kit either. At night the hotel was so noisy I could barely sleep. Reception staff weren’t welcoming or professional, and they paid little attention to requests. This was the worst four star hotel I’ve stayed in, and it fell short on comfort, service, and design. I wouldn’t recommend it without major improvements.

Yotel is appealing to tourists for its location and prices. The rooms are spacious with modern furniture, and the room service staff were polite and clean. Front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and very friendly. The downside was breakfast: the area is too small for the number of guests, so people had to queue for a free table in the morning.
