The windows next to the bed were visibly moldy and crumbling. That felt especially concerning in a sleeping area, and unacceptable for guest accommodation. Laundry was another major frustration. We'd booked because laundry was advertised, but assumed it would be in the apartment or on the same floor. If we'd known how the system actually worked, we wouldn't have booked. No instructions were given at check-in. When we called, staff said to collect a key. The next day we learned keys were available only in four-hour slots, and had to be picked up and returned each time at a place two blocks away. That meant several unnecessary trips. The dryer barely worked and took over two hours for one load, so we ended up hanging clothes around the apartment. This setup took a real chunk out of our vacation. Arrival was frustrating too. We were traveling internationally by plane, but didn't get detailed check-in instructions until we landed, through WhatsApp. Only then did we find out we had to check in somewhere separate from the apartment. We had to drag our luggage through the rain to another location. Essential arrival information should be communicated earlier and more clearly, especially to international travelers. We told staff our clothes were still soaking wet after more than two hours in the dryer, but no one offered help or guidance. And regarding the hotel's response, every photo we posted showed the bedroom window. None were taken in the laundry area. Suggesting otherwise is a clear example of the hotel's lack of integrity. Porto is a wonderful city, and we'd hoped for a relaxing visit. Instead, preventable property and communication problems cost us a meaningful amount of vacation time. We can't recommend this property.

I was concerned when I saw that reception was in another place, but it was just the next block over, so it was fine. The staff were so kind 🥰🥰🥰 RAFAELA FERNANDES guided me really well at the start, and I had a smooth stay at the hotel. Thank you so much.
