The room was comfortable and the staff were so helpful. Breakfast was incredible, with fresh fruit and eggs every day, and the whole stay was excellent. The price wasn’t too high either. Definitely recommend it.

We booked through the website a month ahead, then arrived to find the hostel shut for “technical reasons.” Nobody told us. The host couldn’t explain how they’d tried to contact us, so we can only guess they forgot. We had to suddenly find somewhere else to stay, and nothing nearby was available, which cost us quite a bit extra. Two weeks later, after chasing them several times, we still haven’t received our money back. I saw a few similar accounts in the reviews, although the positive ones outweighed them, which is why we booked. Based on what happened to us, I’d strongly advise against staying here.

Felix was really attentive and gave us valuable local advice. He and the staff welcomed us warmly, and we had a great time in Prazeres, even though the place itself is quite simple. Breakfast was great too, a lovely way to start the day in the sunshine. Thanks, Felix!

Felix was the highlight, very friendly and helpful, and he let us check in earlier than planned. The included breakfast was simple but just right, with fresh scrambled eggs. We enjoyed our six days here, and for this price I’d recommend it. There are several restaurants nearby; we liked Levada best for its good, inexpensive food. A few things could be better: you hear the neighbors and people in the hallway, as well as cars passing by. The Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room. The bed was firm, which suited me, but my girlfriend didn’t like it as much.
