Apartamentos Honório

The team at Apartamentos Honório made us feel at home, always welcoming and ready to help with a smile. We had a lovely time at the bar in the evening, and the restaurant had plenty of delicious choices. Our apartment was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The pool was clean and well looked after, great for cooling off or relaxing. We'd happily recommend the place and can't wait to return.

Parking can be tough around there, especially if you're not used to tight underground spaces, so having secure parking of their own was a real plus for us. The grounds and apartments are lovely, and it feels like home while still offering the resort facilities families want, including a great pool and restaurant. Shops and the beach are an easy walk away. For the price, it's a great value compared with expensive resorts, and a great base around Vilamoura or Quarteira in the Algarve.

We had a really good stay from the moment we arrived through to leaving, and we'd come back if we can. At the restaurant we never waited more than 10-15 minutes for food, and there was live music by the pool most evenings from about 8 pm, which made the evenings nicer. The pool was lovely for spending the day or having cocktails when we wanted a break from the ocean. Reception staff were attentive and helpful, as were the restaurant staff, especially the lady from Nepal :)) The apartment was fine overall, though a few small updates would help. We stayed at the beginning of July.

The apartment was large and clean, though the laminate flooring was a poor choice and was peeling up in places. What stood out most was the staff, absolutely exceptional. We had a great holiday. It's a 30 minute walk to the marina, but in the warm weather we used Uber, which worked superbly in Vilamoura. Trips to the marina or beach cost €2.84-€4.18 and arrived within minutes. The pool area was lovely, with plenty of sunbeds and a great seating spot by the bar. At the end of April the pool was pristine. One afternoon a sax player by the pool added to the atmosphere. Food was very reasonably priced, beer was €3.50 a pint or €1.50 for half. We'll definitely be back.
