The grounds are beautifully kept, with lots of palms and evergreens, and the pool area felt wonderfully calm. The sun loungers looked comfortable, and nobody seemed to be reserving them with towels at dawn like you see at many resorts. I was visiting a friend who lives here with her family, so I can't really comment on the rooms. I did get to see what I think was the most beautiful duplex apartment, though. The complex itself is lovely and very quiet. The entrance gates wouldn't open for me, but a kind woman let me in through the side gate.

The neighborhood has some good restaurants and cafés, and it's an easy Uber ride to Vilamoura. Golf is close by too. The apartment itself was superb, with afternoon and evening sun.

I've stayed here quite a few times over the past three years and have always enjoyed it. The facilities are good, including underground parking. The internet, though, feels like it belongs in the early 90s.

The resort is peaceful and beautiful, with four pools and lovely views over the golf course towards the ocean. The houses and apartments are well furnished and equipped to a high standard. It sits between Vilamoura and Quarteira, with Almancil, Quinta do Lago and several great beaches also within reach. The airport is about 30 minutes away, and there are a couple of excellent supermarkets and lots of fantastic restaurants nearby.

The condo I viewed was spacious and had a roof deck. The community is quiet, beautifully landscaped and has three pools. It's in Vilamoura, in the center of the Golden Triangle. It could make a good vacation rental, though there isn't much within immediate walking distance apart from a golf course.
