Aquashow Park Hotel

The kids had loads to do, and the cleaning staff were lovely. There were a few ants in the rooms, but in a hot country, I suppose that can happen. The staff did their best to keep them under control. What really made this holiday for me and my children was how kind and welcoming everyone was. Reception, bar and restaurant staff couldn’t do enough for us, and the food was amazing too. The staff here deserve a pay rise. I hope the owners know how lucky they are to have them. This was one of the best holidays we’ve had. PAY RISE FOR ALL OF THEM!!!

Our fourth-floor room looked out over the waterpark and Quarteira. I got to see the sunrise each morning, and it was beautiful in a different way every day. The room, bathroom and balcony were all spacious, clean and well equipped, with a small fridge, a free-to-use safe, toiletries, a hairdryer and a TV. The beds were really comfortable. We were on half board, and went in the third week of September, when the hotel was quieter. That meant no queues for food or tables, which suited us. Cristiano, our waiter, deserves a special mention for going above and beyond. The Aquapark attached to the hotel was clean, with no queues at that time of year. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the park had lots of facilities, including food and drink outlets, rollercoasters, photographers and amusements. I have a spinal condition, so I could only use the lazy river. My daughter and the staff helped me get on and off each time. I was very happy taking photos and videos of my daughter having the time of her life. The hotel is in a quiet area outside Quarteira, but buses, taxis or user made it easy to get to town, Vilamoura and Albufeira. The hotel, staff, facilities and food were just right for our week in September. We recommend it and hope to come back.

Pedro at reception had only been working there for 15 days when we arrived, and his personality stood out. The bar and restaurant staff were fantastic, always smiling even at 7:30 in the morning. Everyone was attentive and friendly, and nothing seemed to be a problem. The hotel was spotless, the food was excellent, and we had access to the waterpark every day, which was excellent too. I’ve just come back from a fabulous stay at the Aquashow Park Hotel. It’s rated four stars, but I think it deserves five. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Our dinners became something we looked forward to every evening, and each one seemed better than the last. Cristiano, our waiter, was fantastic, full of energy and always ready with a funny remark that made dinner a joy. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and took real care to meet our needs. The service was warm and attentive throughout. We left with lovely memories and plenty of laughs. The hotel deserves its four stars, and I’d highly recommend it.
