Dom Pedro Residence Vilamoura

We’ve just come back from a seven-night stay. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed, and the wine, water, fruit, and cake waiting on arrival were a lovely touch. We had a great holiday and would return, even with a few issues. We didn’t use the pool because it was too cold for us. It would’ve been nice to have a hot tub in the pool area for cooler months. The pillows could have been better, and the dishwasher broke on our second day and leaked onto the floor. It wouldn’t turn off, so the chap from reception switched it off at the fuse box. After that, we never heard whether it would be fixed or replaced. There was no plug for the kitchen sink either, which made washing dishes difficult once the dishwasher broke.

The pools, playground, and other outdoor areas were very clean, and everything we needed was within an easy walk, including the restaurants. Our apartment was spotless and got cleaned every day. We stayed for seven nights with my husband and our two-year-old. VTS had arranged the transfer through the hotel, and the driver was there when we arrived. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were lovely and very helpful. It was our first visit, and we’ll definitely be back.

We really liked the beautiful apartment and the location, and enjoyed the pool, though some Ibiza-style music would have made it even better. The poolside barman was especially nice. We were supposed to have a room with a hot tub, but didn’t get one. When we asked about keeping the room a little later, one staff member was rude, rolled his eyes, and wouldn’t make eye contact. We’d arranged to check out at noon, but staff knocked more than an hour early and asked us to leave. Such a shame.

The sea view from the cozy balcony was lovely, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, just like the photos or even better. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting in the fridge, a thoughtful touch that helped make the holiday memorable. The location was convenient for the [beach/town/restaurants/attractions], while still being quiet enough to relax. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The staff were so friendly and helpful, including when I contacted them before the trip with questions. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the place.
