We tried the beef kebab with salad and fries, and the scabbard fish with banana and tomato rice. The food was excellent quality, and the staff gave great service. We've been back, and recommend this restaurant if you're in Quarteira.

The waiters were so friendly that I came back the next day. First I had the delicious rib eye, tender enough to melt in my mouth, with freshly made chips and two sides of my choice. On my return I ordered Peri Peri chicken and another steak.
The prices didn’t feel reasonable to me: €4.80 might make sense for a mix of fruit, but not for one mango. The cookie cake was half dry, like it had been sitting around for a week, and we waited much too long for our order, especially the desserts. I was disappointed by the octopus too. It still had its beak, the garlic hadn’t been peeled properly, and I wondered if the octopus was fresh or had been marinated. Nothing here stood out for me, and I don’t feel like returning. There are nearby places with much better food.
The place has such a welcoming feel, and the staff are friendly and nice. We’ve eaten at Girassol three times this week, and today’s lunch special was pork stew with a fresh side salad. Really tasty Portuguese food. We come here whenever we’re in Quarteira, highly recommend it!
The chicken was moist and full of flavour, and the octopus was delicious, probably the best I’ve had during my time in Portugal. The service was excellent too. Wish we’d found this place earlier in our stay.
