Old Village Prestige 101

Old village is our number one family holiday spot. We’ve had such a great time here, it feels like home, and we always feel safe, even at night. The pools are well maintained and always clean, as are the restaurants and bars, which are simply second to none. Customer service in the restaurants and shops has been delightful. It’s a safe, amazing place for the whole family to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The on-site bar was great, and it’s a good walk to the marina. The place is nice but a bit dated. Check-in was a strange experience, we waited and had to leave our luggage on the veranda. We paid for AC but got fans and a portable unit downstairs that couldn’t cope. There were lots of ants in the downstairs loo and upstairs bathroom. Apart from the on-site supermarket and restaurants, everything else is a long way off.

I didn’t like the service from the man at the pool. We went to one of the pools on a Saturday and everything was fine, but the next day they came to charge us for sitting in a chair. They said we’d paid for the apartment, not the facilities, but that wasn’t what we were told when we arrived. It’s not about the chair’s price. I found the way I was approached rude.
