We booked through an easyjet holiday package, so I can't really judge the hotel's standalone price. As part of the package it was fantastic value, especially with breakfast costing just 6 euros extra per person for a 7 night stay. The site is small but looked tidy and friendly when we arrived. Reception staff were welcoming, gave us a quick guide to things to do nearby, and offered more detail if we wanted it. The room was basic but had a TV, two single beds with plenty of blankets, two chairs, a small table, and a bedside table with a drawer by each bed. The shower had good pressure, though the drain couldn't seem to handle much water at once. Hand soap and shampoo were provided. Towels and bedding were changed daily, and laundry was available for an extra cost. The WiFi was patchy, especially in our room. We didn't use the pool, and in that weather the water might have been a bit chilly. It looked nice and seemed well maintained. Breakfast was buffet style, with much the same options each day and some variation in a few items. There was a coffee machine with different drinks, and chocolate milk was a regular favourite of mine. For what we paid, it was well worth it for a week's stay, and the usual prices I saw online seemed reasonable too. There's plenty of parking. I'd recommend it for staying in this area or exploring the Algarve, though the train station is about an hour away on foot.

The rooms were very clean, and I can highly recommend the hotel. The whole team made us feel incredibly welcome. They clearly love their work and gave us excellent tips for sightseeing. Thank you for your hospitality.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. It's a very nice place for a short stay, though a bit far from the beach. The hotel does run a free shuttle bus there and back at various times.

For an early flight, this place did the job for one night, and being about 20 minutes from the airport helped. With a car, the location also works for reaching the local restaurant areas. The room was what I expected from a 3-star hotel, but there was no hot water and the Wi-Fi in the room was awful. To be fair, it worked well enough for video calls around the pool or restaurant. If you expect high quality, you’ll be disappointed. Go in expecting what you paid for and you should be okay.

The pool was the standout for me: roomy, well cared for, and set among greenery, so it was a nice place to spend the day. I also found breakfast tasty, with a good mix of continental and hot choices, and the staff were friendly and ready to help with directions, bookings, or local suggestions. My room was simple, clean, and comfortable, with what I needed. Hotel Pinhal do Sol is in a quiet spot between Quarteira and Almancil, good for relaxing while staying close to the beach and nearby towns. I had a lovely stay and would happily return.
