Getting into the villa late was easy because the access instructions were clear, and there was a convenient parking space nearby. We booked through Jet2 Holidays and stayed at Prados Villas over Christmas. The house was spotless, and the welcome touches of white wine, chocolate biscuits, and milk were much appreciated. Our villa was right in front of the pool, though the colder weather this year meant we couldn’t make full use of it. The villa was comfortable and well equipped, with good air conditioning, spacious wardrobes, and two bathrooms: an en suite with a shower and a main bathroom with a bath. Water pressure was excellent. The bedrooms had two single beds pushed together, which were comfortable, but we would have preferred at least one double bed. Vilamoura center isn’t far, though having a car made getting around much more convenient. We loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

The staff were friendly, and the cats made very good hosts ;). It’s a lovely spot for some quiet time. Just be aware the paths aren’t well lit at night, and at this time of year the cafe is only open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. I was surprised that the barman couldn’t speak Portuguese.

A lovely room that lived up to the luxury villa description. It’s in a quiet residential area, with a bit of a walk into town, though taxis are easy to find. Reception was part-time at Easter.

The staff are very nice, and the villas are clean and well kept, with a great pool and gardens. The kids were happy with the good quality WiFi. This was our second stay at Prado Villas, in October 2021, and there were only a few other guests around. It’s very quiet, which we liked. We walked into town, about a mile, where there’s lots to do and eat, or a taxi costs around €5. Brilliant value for a holiday.

We’ve stayed at Prado Villas at least seven times and have always found the accommodation clean. The furniture is a little dated, but there’s everything you need for self-catering. We’ve just booked another short break, paying £17 a night for a two-bedroom villa, so I’m astounded by what some people expect from such reasonably priced accommodation. The receptionist at Prado Villas has always been very helpful when we’ve had issues, usually something like the TV remote not working. If you’re on a budget and realistic about what you’ll get, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
