It’s near the beach and the main road, with plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. Vilamoura is about a half-hour walk away. The flat had what we needed for self catering, and the small issues with lights and bulbs were fixed. They also supplied a mattress topper, though the bed remained a problem because the mattress was very uncomfortable. The residential setting was noisy, with barking dogs, passing lorries and building work starting around 6.30am.
