I had to find somewhere at the last minute after a serious plumbing problem at my original accommodation left me without water during a winter break in Vilamoura. Luna Olympus turned out to be a real lifesaver, and much better value than I expected. The marina view from the balcony was beautiful day and night. My room was spacious, clean and modern, with a very comfortable bed and useful kitchen facilities. Breakfast was included, and the location made it easy to explore Vilamoura. There’s also a lovely pool that looked well maintained, though it was too chilly for me to swim. The staff made a stressful change of plans much easier, and I felt at home right away. I’ll keep this place in mind for future stays in Portugal. 🇵🇹

The rooms are spacious, clean and lovely, and breakfast was very good. The staff are friendly and nothing seems like too much trouble. The new receptionist was especially kind and helpful. I’ll be back.

The marina is close, and the large apartment-style rooms are good value in the off season. If your room faces the road, though, it can be noisy until the early hours.

I spent 10 nights here as part of a travel agents package. The pool was wonderfully clean, the staff helpful and polite, the internet good, and the location convenient for both restaurants and the beach. Those are the five-star parts. The room was terrible, with an outdated bathroom and kitchen that looked like they were from the 80s. There was no safe or minibar, not even tissues or complimentary water. The towels were threadbare, like ones from a school camp, and the bidet smelled awful. For those things, I’d give it one star.

The rooms are large, with enough to do some basic cooking. The place feels a little tired, but I don’t think you can beat it for the price. Breakfast is adequate, though €15 per person is a lot if it isn’t included, especially with cheaper options at the nearby pubs. We’ll be back.
