We stayed at Villa Golf in mid July. The villa was nice, and the pool was much bigger than it looked in the photos. The upstairs bedroom had an ensuite and balcony that weren’t shown, and both were lovely. We booked directly, paid a deposit, then paid the balance in cash on arrival. They were great to deal with, and I’d recommend them without hesitation.

There’s plenty around to keep you busy, and getting a taxi to the marina pubs and restaurants is really cheap. Great with the kids.

After driving 800km to get there, we were told by the owners that we could simply leave when we reported the problems. The house and patio were dirty, the fridge and washing machine were rusty and damaged, and the living room air conditioner leaked indoors, so we had to put a bucket under it. I wouldn’t recommend it.
