We had a good week in the villa, and loved the outdoor space, games room, and big kitchen with two large fridge freezers. It felt safe and secure, and Lisa responded quickly. Olaho is about a 20m drive away, with a nice little old town and restaurants and bars. There’s a beautiful sunrise from the balcony. The nearest shop is 2.8 km away. The pool was fantastic, and we paid an extra £300 to have it heated in October. It was worth it and needed. But the lights didn’t come on until 9pm, when it was already pitch black from 7pm, so we couldn’t use the pool in the evening. That really spoiled things for us. It looked beautiful once the lights finally came on, but by then we’d all showered and it was too late. We asked if the lights could be adjusted and were told they couldn’t. The TVs shown in every bedroom didn’t work, though apparently the advert says this. The lounge also wasn’t big enough for all eight of us to sit comfortably and watch a film, which we might have done if we could still use the pool at night. You definitely need a car, even to take the daily rubbish to the communal bins, a 20-minute round walk.
