Quinta dos Peixes Falantes

Vitor was warm and friendly, and helped us with whatever we needed. We stayed in one of the block houses, which was cozy, very clean, and in great condition. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it.

The space is thoughtfully designed and decorated, with a lovely mix of traditional and modern touches inside and out. Service was very good, and we especially liked the little table right outside our room. We had a peaceful time by the pool. It's worth the price if you expect to spend a lot of time at the accommodation. If you're mostly planning to explore the island, though, think carefully about whether the cost makes sense for you.

Ana was so welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was delicious, with homemade treats, fresh fruit, and lots of choices. We loved starting the morning with a dip in the pool, and the private terrace was lovely. The apartment has a great bed, an excellent bathroom, and a kitchen with everything you need. It's very clean, beautifully designed inside and out, and surrounded by an exotic garden with so much attention to detail. It felt like a little oasis. The location is ideal for exploring both sides of the island, though you'll definitely need a car. We also recommend booking dinner at the nearby Quinta dos Sabores. We fell in love with the island and this beautiful place, and hope to return one day.

The studio, garden and pool area are beautifully designed, and everything feels high quality. Breakfast and the host were excellent too. Warmly recommended!
