The house is well cared for and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit. The peaceful setting also makes it a lovely place to relax while exploring nearby attractions. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our two nights at Casa da Comadre. It’s a typical Alentejo house, just right for two people, and well placed for discovering Monsaraz and the surrounding area. Thank you very much.

We spent a week here and will definitely come back. The house is typically Alentejo, with the quiet so many people come looking for in this part of the region. It’s an excellent base for seeing Alqueva and the Alentejo interior. We liked everything: the comfort, cleanliness, location, and especially the kindness of host Sr. Luís and the neighbors. Very highly recommended. Congratulations, and thanks for everything. A hug from Porto to you. Fábio Silva and Sofia Marques. August 2020

For anyone looking for the peace that only Alentejo can offer, this is a welcoming, typical Alentejo house in a cared-for, serene rural setting. The service was professional and attentive, and everyone was very friendly. I strongly recommend it.

I stayed here in September 2018. Luis was very friendly, and it’s a perfect place for two people. As so often in Portugal, the people were the best part. Thank you for your kindness.
