The quiet at night was wonderful, especially after the constant city noise, and the area has plenty to explore, including Alqueva for a refreshing swim. We were lucky to catch Friday's rehearsal at the sociedade filarmonica next door, a real treat, eating and drinking in the yard with live music, haha. The traditional Alentejo house has everything you need, plus a lovely private little yard with a barbecue. It's well equipped, tastefully decorated, and incredibly peaceful.

We stayed just two nights, but had a great time and would recommend it. The house was fully equipped and very clean, and we had breakfast on the pleasant terrace in the usual Alentejo calm. Sr. Luis was very friendly and helpful. There was a little welcome treat waiting for us when we arrived, a bottle of wine. I'd recommend it 100%.

This is one of my favorite places in Alentejo. The house was spotless, rustic in a way that suited its surroundings, and decorated with real taste. The big patio felt so welcoming. Little practical things were good too, like the shower pressure, hair dryer, coffee machine and pods, TV, and wi-fi. Sr Luís was so kind and helpful, the icing on the cake. I'd love to come back 😊

We had a wonderful week and already miss the house. Everything was extremely clean, and the place had all the comforts and equipment we needed, plus a barbecue in the yard. It was a five-star stay. The owner, Senhor Luís, was exceptional and always ready to help. I loved it and hope to return soon.
