Casa Dona Antonia

We got a lot for the price: lovely old interiors kept in good shape, great beds, a view that was stunning, and hosts who were helpful without hovering. Breakfast had everything we expected. There was only one other room occupied, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves, with discreet attention from the owner. February made the stop especially memorable. The blossoms and fresh green grass and leaves made for beautiful drives and views. In town, we had the historic streets to ourselves on an early sunrise walk, with striking views toward the lakes and Spain. The lakes were filled to the brim after heavy rain from several Atlantic storms three weeks before we arrived. A place I'd remember and return to on another stopover.

We only stayed a night, though I would've liked more time there. The included breakfast was great, and the courtyard had a homey feel. The host was very accommodating, and our room was spacious and clean. It's a lovely guest house right in the center, with an amazing view of the surroundings from the rooftop.

This is a peaceful spot right in the heart of the little village. We stayed two nights and loved how much care went into everything, from the decor and breakfast service to the quality of the details and the comfort. It's a family-run place, and that affection comes through. The views are magnificent, the service was very good, and the whole stay felt like a dream. We'll definitely come back.

We were in room 5 and would gladly recommend it. The countryside view from the room was fantastic, and there's a terrace upstairs for watching the sunset. The location is fabulous, service was friendly and helpful, and the price felt good for what we got.
