We especially enjoyed wandering through the hotel's museum-like exhibition rooms, and the service, comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfast made the stay lovely. At night the place looks beautiful under a sky full of stars. It's also very close to Monsaraz Castle and other interesting spots. Five stars!

The convent is a quiet, historic place, and there's even a museum inside to visit. Our room felt cosy, with good materials used throughout, and the heating worked well when we needed it. The service was very attentive and breakfast was very good.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and full of useful information, and breakfast was great. Our spacious room was quiet and comfortable, with a large bathroom. There are no TVs in the rooms, though there's a big one in a shared room. We had to use the stairs, unless there's an elevator hidden somewhere that I missed. The renovated convent has artwork, a little archaeological museum, and charming places to sit. It has a retreat-like feel that encourages quiet contemplation. The restaurant wasn't open on the day we stayed, but there were good places to eat nearby. It's in a small village, very near the old walled Castle Monsaraz, which was great to explore.
