I never even made it there. I called to confirm the stay, and the manager said there was no booking under my name, so I had to find somewhere else. Later she called back saying the reservation had been made, and she was very rude about it. I strongly wouldn't recommend this place.

Bring cash, because there’s no ATM in the village. I had to get a taxi to Resende to withdraw money and go to the market, which cost me €12 for the return trip. If you’re not driving, the easier route is by train to Aregos station, then take the boat across for €1. We had a really pleasant few days. The accommodation was affordable, the staff were attentive, and the place has its own restaurant with very good meals at good prices. I was grateful for the stay. The only thing missing for me was a cake for my birthday, but they didn’t have one.

The breakfast was really good, and the value for money here is incredible. My room was clean, comfortable, and roomy, with a fridge and coffee machine. The bathroom was great too, especially the shower. I recommend it!

The room was huge and had a terrace, a coffee maker with capsules, and a fridge stocked with water, juice, and beer. The location was excellent, close to everything. Service was very good, and the price was quite reasonable. Highly recommend it.

I stopped in Caldas de Aregos while travelling along the N222 and was very pleased with the room. It was spotless, the bathroom was impeccable, and despite the modest decor, the place felt very welcoming. Everything matched what was listed on Booking. I’d recommend it.
