Guesthouse The View - Adults Only

The room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. I’d recommend it without hesitation. The terrace in front of the room was a relaxing place to sit, and the view was stunning. A perfect base for exploring the island.

We had breakfast each day for 8.50€ per person, and it was fantastic. There was bread, homemade jams, cheeses, ham, tomatoes, cucumber and onion, plus a different selection of fruit each day and yogurt. Juice, tea or coffee, and eggs were offered too. The staff were lovely and friendly. The honesty bar had good prices, which was handy since there aren’t many places to walk to nearby. The bar across the road opened only one night during our stay. Our top-floor room had loads of space, a fridge, kettle with a selection of teas, and a super comfortable bed. The shower was great, and toiletries were replenished when needed. The balconies are quite narrow, but the sunrise views are fabulous. Since the room gets sun most of the day, it gets really hot; the dark blinds and air conditioning helped us sleep. The room was serviced daily and towels were changed regularly. There’s a nice sun terrace and sitting room upstairs, with high quality furniture, and the pool is downstairs, great for a dip after a day of walking. It’s also a great base for getting around the whole island.

The thoughtful details, hospitality, and gorgeous decor made this boutique hotel one of the best we’ve stayed in. The views were stunning, and there were lots of lovely little touches throughout. Take a look at my photos and you’ll see. We wish we could have stayed a few more days, and we’d definitely recommend it to our friends.

The Atlantic view from our room was a real plus, and the owner and staff were kind. Still, after eight days, the stay didn’t feel worth the price. The room and even the towels smelled moldy. The Wi-Fi password didn’t work; we were told they’d send the correct one, but nothing came. The bed was ridiculously high and uncomfortable. The AC wasn’t working, so we had to sleep with the balcony door open and got eaten alive by mosquitoes.
