The April shade kept the apartment pleasantly cool, which seems especially useful in warmer months. We also liked the quiet, low-traffic street and the easy parking right outside, though there were renovations going on nearby. The ocean view was lovely, and the center was about a 25-minute walk or 10-minute drive away. Inside, there was plenty of room, it was clean and well equipped, and the terrace had sun loungers, a jacuzzi, and a barbecue. Mr. Carlos was attentive and quick to respond. If we needed something, a message was enough and he’d show up with a fix within 15 minutes. One evening his wife even made us dinner, such a thoughtful surprise. We had a wonderful stay.

We were able to check in early because the house was ready, and the owners were lovely, helpful people throughout. The garden has banana and orange trees you can try, plus a grill and everything needed to use it. There’s also a coffee machine, plenty of towels, board games, and all the cooking gear we needed. We spent a week here as two couples and loved the villa. The bathroom was comfortable, the view was breathtaking, and there’s a jacuzzi. Parking is on the road. We’d happily recommend this place for a stay in Madeira.
