Casas da Fraga 2020

With its mountain views and lovely natural setting, this was a comfortable place to stay in a very quiet atmosphere. Sr. Artur was kind and attentive, and clearly cared about our well-being, which made the whole stay a pleasure. A place I'd like to come back to.

The suites were really comfortable, the bed was one of the best I've slept in, and the bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen had everything needed to make any kind of meal, plus a coffee machine that takes multiple capsule types, so everyone can bring their own. There’s a saltwater pool with a lovely mountain feel, and the sunsets were rich and intense. The peaceful scenery is a great escape from the stress of work or city life. Sr Artur, the owner and host, made us feel welcome with a warm greeting and good conversation, often with the dogs Lorde and Sushi nearby. Sra Conceição was also very helpful and thoughtful at breakfast and whenever we needed something. I recommend it to everyone. It would be selfish not to! A 10, and I hope to return.

The breakfasts were generous and everything tasted great. The saltwater pool was well cared for, with a view of the mountains. Sr Artur and Dona Filomena, the owners, were available and attentive to their guests, and Dona Conceição was exceptionally kind. A wonderful place with a splendid view. Nothing to complain about, and I'd definitely stay again.

If you want a peaceful stay with all the comfort and convenience you need, this is an ideal place to stay. Its location also works well for visiting the Ponte Romana in Alvite, the Lagoas de Cabriz, and Praia Fluvial das Meadas in Cerva.
