After a full day hiking or sightseeing, we were always glad to come back here. We stayed three nights in the White Appartment, a charming renovated estate, and enjoyed it all. Our place was spacious, clean and well kept, with a comfortable bed, a small cot for our daughter, and a roomy bathroom with a great shower. The vintage and modern decor worked really well together. The setting is quiet and tucked away in the countryside, but the town and the road between the east and west coasts are still close. The gardens and paths are well maintained, there is a modern swimming pool, and parking is plentiful. We appreciated the welcome gift, too. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a filter coffee maker. The only thing we missed was a washing machine.
