The apartment was great and the location was amazing, but the service let us down. We only had one set of garbage bags, and there was no washing powder or capsules for the machine. One day the gates stopped working and nobody was around to let us out with the car. The owner wouldn't answer our calls or messages, so our plans were ruined.

We visited Vila Franca Do Campo over Christmas, when most of the local restaurants and shops were closed. Having a fully equipped kitchen meant we could cook for ourselves. The rental is lovely, and the view from the master bedroom in our three-bedroom villa was breathtaking.

It felt like home here. The rooms are really nice, very clean, and basically full apartments. A very nice place to stay.

Lots of space and a beautiful view, but the mattress was flat and the beds need updating.

Big, clean rooms and a really helpful staff. The location is very good too. I'd book here again!
