D Diana was so thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay, and even surprised us with flowers and little almond treats ❤️❤️ The house felt peaceful and welcoming, with everything we needed for a comfortable, restful weekend.

It’s a shame there’s no ramp for people with reduced mobility, which makes normal access impossible. I haven’t seen the inside yet, so I’ll update my rating after staying. The building design is really original, and it sits away from the busy center of Lugar da Seara, with parking spaces right in front of the house.

The view really is stunning, and the place was clean, tidy, and in a great location. I had a great time and would come back. Just watch your head if you’re tall, since the ceiling is low, and there isn’t nearby parking.

A spectacular view and just what we needed for a few quiet days in Gerês. It has the essentials for spending the day by the river and then coming back to rest. I recommend it!

The hot water cylinder doesn’t stretch far enough for all the available rooms, so I can’t give it five stars. Apart from that, it’s a pleasant, welcoming place, very close to the monastery of São Bento da Porta Aberta.
