A supermarket, café, and a wonderful new deli have added a lot to the place, and there's a nice pool with loungers. It's also just a fairly short walk down to the village centre, the restaurants, and the beach. The accommodation could do with refurbishment by now, but it's still comfortable and well located. We keep choosing it when we're after a relaxing few days in the Algarve sunshine, and it's a favourite holiday spot in Salema.

The receptionist was especially kind to us and our baby, and told us they’d be glad to help whenever we needed anything. We had a really enjoyable stay here between hiking stages. Being beside the super mercado was handy, and the fancy deli was a nice place to pick up local ciders.

I often bring clients here for transfers. The walk up from town to the resort is uphill, but year after year my clients return to Salema Praia Club with very positive reviews.
