You can smell the wood as soon as you step into the hostel. I spent about half an hour looking at all the wooden pieces. I'm a part-time woodworker, and the detail and skill in the work really impressed me. The owners are super friendly and also run Café Abreu down the street. Such a lovely place to stay, highly recommended.

The decor is really lovely and distinctive, and everything was super clean and comfortable. We stayed three nights for a team-building event. Great place, and I'd come back!

The owners are wonderful, attentive, and kind, and the hostel was fantastically clean. Its past is still very much present, which makes for a really original place. They also have double rooms with en-suite bathrooms. I highly recommend it.
