The dorm room was spacious, and breakfast was OK, though one coffee per guest feels a bit mean at 20 euros. The shower rooms were unpleasant, and there was disturbing art on the walls. The owner was rude and abrupt, never once saying please or thank you. My Camino friend was willing to pay for us to stay somewhere else, but couldn’t find two beds at another hostel. Because of an injury, I had to stay for two nights. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The kitchen was closed and unavailable on Sunday, something I couldn’t find mentioned in the advertising. The place felt run down and neglected, as though the owners were tired of keeping it up. Disappointing.

For 15 euros, this is a great spot. They even grow lemons here, and the ones in this part of the world are so sweet, almost like lemonade. Looking forward to trying one with breakfast.

The homemade-food smell made me feel at home straight away. The shower was hot, everything was very clean, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Just what I need. I’d stay again if I’m back here.

We stayed here while heading to Santiago, and it had everything a pilgrim or walker could need. The shared spaces were especially comfortable and really nice. Such a great hostel.
