For what it costs, I found this place to be terrible value. We paid the rate of a three-star hotel in Spain, but to me this felt like a Spanish one-star hostel. The front desk man was very friendly and the location was good. Breakfast was adequate, though it wasn't a buffet, and the sheets and towels were very clean. That's about the extent of the positives. The facilities weren't well maintained, and the place wasn't as clean as it should have been. If those things had been taken care of, it might have been fun to step back into the 1940s, since that's how dated it feels. My bed was awful, far too hard, like sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor. Maybe you'd love that kind of bed, but I don't.
