I felt completely at home in Talurdo. The residents are charming, the accommodations are thoughtfully put together, and there are beautiful outdoor spaces and walking paths with plenty of places to relax. The surrounding nature has a scent all its own, like boundless open space. I especially loved reading quietly on the tree terrace in the boho-style hanging chairs. At the Midtown Bar, food tasted even better with a view of the gentle horses available for riding, and it made me feel wild and free. Friendly, open-hearted dogs sometimes came by for a cuddle. Chris and David were attentive and caring hosts who made sure guests had what they needed. Time seems to stand still here, giving you space to pause, breathe deeply, and focus on what matters. You can watch both sunrise and sunset to birdsong, and see brilliantly shining stars at night. Pure magic. It felt like a sanctuary, a place of strength that restored my energy, helped me reconnect with myself, and brought grounding and calm in a fast-paced world.
