The bungalows have kitchenettes and everything you need, though this isn’t the sort of place to expect a luxury hotel. What makes it special is the location on a pier in Ferradosa, with a stunning view of the river and mountains. Waking up to that was amazing.

A sublime spot in the beautiful Douro Superior, surrounded by what feels like paradise. Canoeing along the river was magnificent, beyond words.

It’s a peaceful place to rest and take in some truly beautiful scenery. You can spend time with a good book or try water sports like kayaking and fishing, or simply unwind on a boat trip along the Douro and enjoy the views around the river. Nature lovers have several viewpoints to visit: "Salvador do Mundo", "Quinta de Vargellas", "Capela de Sta Bárbara", and "São Xisto". A little farther away are "Miradouro da Sra das Neves" and "Senhora do Vencimento". For a fuller stay, you can catch the train at Ferradosa station and head up the Douro to Pinhão or Régua. The views are breathtaking. A lovely place to enjoy some quiet time.

A really unique, cozy, and relaxing experience. The chalets are well equipped, so you can cook your own meals. We also had an excellent boat trip with senhor Alberto. He was so kind and friendly, and shared tips about the area that made the trip even richer.
