The views are hard to capture in photos, and the property is beautiful and very clean. We had a fantastic three-night stay. Don’t let the comments about it being remote put you off, it was a wonderful experience. Guilherme and Telemo made us feel at home, communicated well in English, and were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and wine. They gave great wine tastings and went out of their way to book other restaurants for us. Breakfast was great, and the hosts and servers were lovely. No cons for us. One tip if you’re renting a car: I’d recommend automatic transmission and Apple Car Play.

The room looked fantastic, especially the bathroom, and the terrace view left us speechless. Everyone on the team was so friendly to us, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Our only regret is that Gui and Thelmo never followed through on having a dip in the swimming pool… 😃

A wonderful stay in a beautiful location, with an even more stunning view. Everything was clean and pleasant. Our host, Guilherme, was incredibly welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable. He deserves a promotion, or a raise 😊

We had a perfect two-night stay at the quinta. The peace, the views, and all the wine and port made it so enjoyable that I really didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely come back to this idyllic place with friends so they can discover it too.

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at Quinta da Gricha, and it felt special from the moment we arrived. Set in the heart of the Douro Valley, the property is breathtaking, with beautiful vineyard and river views, peaceful surroundings, and a lovely mix of rustic charm and luxury. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The meals used fresh local ingredients and came paired with excellent wines from the estate. Some of the best food and wine we’ve had anywhere. The port wines here were, without question, the best we’ve ever tasted.
