The apartments at João Jungle are clean, exceptionally comfortable, and well equipped, with very good beds and a personal touch. I even found fruit picked from the garden on the dining table. The pool is lovely for a refreshing dip. Johanna and Ron are warm-hearted hosts who love Portugal. They make time to help you find your way and have lots of tips. From the doorstep, you can hike or walk to unspoilt beaches, with interesting towns and places also close enough to reach by car. Set in beautiful natural surroundings, it’s a truly relaxing place I’d love to return to any time of year.

The garden has plenty of spots to sit and read, and you can use the authentic stone oven with pizza dough recipes, as well as the BBQs. It’s also in a great area for surfing. The studios are clean and nicely decorated, and you can see the care put into everything. The hosts are incredibly kind and always ready to help. It’s a magical place where I could completely unwind. What an experience!

The hosts were caring and helpful, and we’re definitely going back. My partner, our two young kids, and I stayed for nearly a week and had a fantastic time. The location is amazing, with wonderful beaches very easy to reach.
