If you love being close to Nature, this little house is a great fit. It’s not far from Madalena, and the island of Pico is beautiful, with very friendly people. Just know that little creatures come with the setting: the neighborhood cats visit often and are affectionate little nuisances even when there’s no food. PLEASE DON’T FEED THEM! You may also have a small spider, mosquito, or lizard around, so if you’re uncomfortable with bugs or expect nature without them, this place probably isn’t for you. Aurélie and Vera, who welcomed us, were both wonderful and tireless in looking after our comfort. The house matched its description and photos perfectly, and felt cozy, just right for a few restful days. Five stars all around. I recommend it!

Quiet and really nice, with a bit of isolation that suits anyone after some peace. There’s a barbecue outside and outdoor tables.

The staff were so friendly, and I really liked the house. Seems like a lovely spot for a spring or summer holiday.
