The place felt safe and was clean, and I’d recommend it for a night or two. We landed here on our motorcycle trip after rain caught us out. The man at reception was really friendly: he showed us the room and facilities, then let us leave the motorcycles in the building’s basement. We were very grateful.

I had a great night here. It’s a simple hostel, but cozy and quiet, and the bed was the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept in at a hostel. The staff were friendly and even stayed up late so I could check in. The bathrooms could’ve been a little cleaner, though they were still totally acceptable. I’d recommend staying here.

The room was clean, really comfortable, and very nice, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was good too. My wife and I stayed in a private room while walking the Camino de Santiago. It took us about 25 minutes to walk there since the hostel isn’t very close to the Camino. The tram stop is very near, though, and Matosinhos is just one stop away. We also took the tram into town for dinner.

There’s a lovely living room and the atmosphere is amazing. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bathrooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast is included and very good, with coffee, milk, cacao, tea, juice, bread, cheese, ham, cereal, jam, and butter. The staff are amazing and very helpful. The hostel is also very near Matosinhos beach and the metro station.

The room was very nice, and so were the staff. Just keep in mind the front desk isn’t open 24/7, and there’s no airport shuttle. You have to take and pay for a taxi.
