There’s plenty of room in this apartment, with three bedrooms: two have double beds and one has a single. The view is wonderful, and the kitchen is fully equipped, including a washing machine.

We stayed in the apartment with its own bathroom and kitchen. It was clean and lovely, though a few useful things were missing from the kitchen. The hot tub in the complex was fantastic after a day climbing Pico. The accommodation itself is beautiful and the location very quiet. One issue: the listed address is wrong. The place is on the coast in São Mateus, south of Madalena, not on Pico mountain. I wasn’t able to get the address changed.

With private transport, this spacious house works well for a group of up to eight. It has a huge terrace with a magnificent view, plus a jacuzzi and barbecue area. The rooms are tastefully furnished, and the appliances are well equipped.
