The breakfast selection was quite good, better than I expected. The restaurant wasn't great, but it was at least reasonably priced. At the bar, we waited about 15 minutes for a waiter to appear and take our order, even though I'd already told reception I wanted to order something. The bar prices weren't very high, though. The hotel feels dated throughout and is ready for some renovation. Our room was still clean, and for the price we paid it was about okay. I was surprised they charged €1 for the small bottle of still water in the fridge. That should be free. We didn't have time to try the pool or other services, and they would have cost extra anyway.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink just a short walk away. We stayed four nights for a family wedding, and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable.

No frills, just a great place to chill. The basics are top quality, the outdoor pool is lovely, and it's very close to the thermas. The evening menu has classic português dishes.

The service is very nice, and the bed is good quality. The food was average to good and reasonably priced. The pool is nice, though swimming caps are compulsory and you have to buy one there. Who travels with a swimming cap, right? The shower was good, but the plastic curtain kept sticking to me. There was also very loud music from a nearby square in the evening, which was annoying. Almost four stars.
