A lovely, restful stay in a restored old family home right across from the river. The hosts were kind and professional, and the place was quiet. It’s close to the village center, where you can get a good meal, and the nearby villages are beautiful.

We paid for two nights but only stayed one, then had to book another hotel and ended up paying twice for the night. The staff wouldn’t let us change the reservation, despite our trying everything, and they were inflexible. The room was expensive, cold, and damp, with visible dirt along the baseboards and just one small oil radiator. The bathroom was freezing too, with damp on the ceiling and an old cot on a worn floor. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially with so many other places to choose from.

The owner was very accommodating when we ran into a problem at checkout and let us extend our booking. The manager and staff member were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great stay, the space was very nice, the pool was good, and the mattress and pillow were really comfortable. The bathroom could use a refresh. I’d definitely come back.
