We liked it enough to extend our stay by a night, switching from our original deluxe room to another one. Ana was kind and helpful, and breakfast came with lots of choice, all homemade. The rooms blend an old Portuguese, rustic feel with modern comfort, cleanliness and good equipment. On our last day we met Salvador Dali, the lovely cat who lives there. We’d definitely come back.

After a long day on the Fisherman's Trail, it was such a treat to sit on the veranda overlooking the garden and relax. We stayed one night at Casa da Seiceira during our five days of hiking. Ana welcomed us warmly and was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and the food was delicious. Strongly recommend.

The owners made us feel at home, and even greeted us with strawberries. Breakfast was perfect, and the small rooms are decorated beautifully. One of the loveliest beaches is about a 15-minute walk away. You will need a car to get around, since there’s nothing nearby.

A car or other transport is useful here, though the cottage-like rooms sit conveniently between beaches and a small town. It’s very quiet, with lovely gardens and a pool on site. Dinner can be arranged with the owner ahead of time. Breakfast was prepared with real care: fresh bread, seasonal fruit, cake and treats like freshly squeezed orange juice.

After walking the Rota Vicentina, we were glad to find such comfortable rooms and a quiet, homey feel for a well-earned break. Dinner was excellent, slow-cooked black pork beef cheeks with a good glass of wine. Just what we wanted after a walk.
