Azor Eco Lodge

We especially appreciated how considerate the hosts were: they gave us space but were there whenever we needed anything. With two young kids, those little touches made our week at Azor Eco Lodge even better. There was homemade pineapple cake and local tea waiting when we arrived, then pancakes for the children and chocolate partway through the stay. The apartment was spotless and modern, with every detail feeling carefully chosen. It had everything we needed, including a private spa with hot water and a lovely garden with plenty of seating and a cozy fireplace. After exploring the Azores, it was a relaxing place to come back to. We were a family of four and had a fantastic week here. We’d happily recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, family-friendly stay.

The jacuzzi under the stars made for some lovely romantic moments with my boyfriend, and the place felt special because André and his mother Rosalia were so warm and kind. I wasn’t feeling well during our stay, and they looked after me like family. Rosalia brought homemade soup and fresh orange juice, along with plenty of treats. Her apple cake was the best we’ve ever had. Communication with André was great too, he replied incredibly quickly. The lodge itself is beautiful, with striking architecture, a stylish interior, quality furnishings, and a very well-equipped kitchen that made cooking easy.

We were always happy to come back here after being out on the island. It was such a comfortable little home, with a cozy living room and TV, a great kitchen, a really comfortable bed, blackout shades, and an outdoor jacuzzi for unwinding. The hosts were absolute sweethearts, greeting us with freshly baked pineapple cake and bringing pancakes the next day. So thoughtful! This was our favorite place to stay in sao miguel. The modern home was beautifully done and had everything we could want. We’d definitely come back when we're in the açores 😊

Andre was a great host and kept in touch to check that everything was going well. The apartment had a distinctive decor while still being very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the private balcony after long days exploring the island. It was in a quiet spot and the location was perfect for our vacation in the Azores. I couldn’t have picked a better place, and I really recommend Azor Eco Lodge for a stay you won’t regret.
