Vila Viegas

The apartment was clean and roomy, and the rooms were pretty standard for this sort of guesthouse. We especially liked having a small garden where we could hang out our laundry. The bathroom was cleaned every day, fresh towels were provided, and there was a large parking lot right in front of the house.

I have only good things to say about Vila Viegas. I really enjoyed my stay and appreciated the friendliness, availability, and attention. I was there just to sleep, but I noticed the garden and its great barbecue, which must be excellent in warmer weather. Since we rented a car, the location was no issue at all. The house is very well equipped, with a hairdryer, washing machine, toaster, coffee machine, and more. I liked it and recommend it.

The price for what you get is fair. The property is well located near public beaches where you can swim, and there’s a large supermarket and a chocolate café close by. Just know there’s a basement, with two rooms sharing a bathroom and a fairly well-equipped kitchen. I’d suggest coming as a group and renting the whole place.

For the price, I thought it was excellent value, and the room was very clean. It was a little dark, and the window had tape on it and only opened a small amount. During peak season there were no cars available, but we could rent the owner's daughter's car for a reasonable price. The people were friendly.
