A quiet, peaceful stay and real chance to relax. The grounds are well kept, and the rooms were clean with everything we needed. The hostess was friendly and quick to respond. I recommend it.

We were so glad to have found this spacious, spotless place, and the owner was incredibly friendly. For the price, I can't imagine finding better value. It's away from Funchal, which suited us. There are two small, sweet, friendly dogs in the courtyard, just a heads-up, but they don't bother anyone. If we come back to Madeira, we'd happily stay here for a few days again. I did wonder whether the host makes wine from the grapevines on the property, and whether it might be available to buy.
