Casa Do Vidoeiro

My partner and I had the BEST time here last summer. The owners went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. They spent ages showing us on the map where to find waterfalls and good hikes, and we were so grateful for all the help. Everyone, from the family to the staff, had such a warm feel. Breakfast was delicious, the pool was a perfect way to end the day, and the place is right in the center. We had a blast exploring Seia. We’ll definitely be back this summer and stay here again!

We really liked the property and the staff. Breakfast was delicious, the pool was great, and the rooms and beds were extremely comfortable. It’s a quiet, safe neighborhood, and we liked being out of the city center while still close to lots of things.

We stayed three nights in one of the studio apartments. It was very clean, well equipped with kitchenware, and comfortable all around. The bed was amazing. The pool and outdoor area were lovely, with a great view across the valley. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s close to the historic center of the small town of Seia, with shops and restaurants nearby. If you have a car, it’s very well placed as a base for exploring the landscapes, trails, and river beaches of Serra da Estrela. I’m not sure how easy it is to get around without one. Highly recommend, and we hope to return soon. Amazing price for the quality.

Ana welcomed us as soon as we arrived, grabbed a map of Seia, and pointed out restaurants and the best sights. She was lovely with the kids and made us feel at home. They enjoyed the pool even with the bad weather. Breakfast was fantastic, and there were lots of thoughtful little touches around the property. Short stay, but a sweet one. We’ll check availability next time we’re in the area.
